Muse Challenge #11  Using the green from Monday Muse, Laurie Willison!
for the background and the blue of the twin for the flowers I enjoyed this challenge.
Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger : Friendly Flowers This played right into the idea of green background and blue flower.  Love it!

April 4, 2013 Just A Scrappin' Challenge is Ready to feel the sun? Make a card, LO or project with the sun on it.  Sun on the beach card here.  I remembered lots of past vacations with the sun on the beach because of this challenge.

I cut 1 <circle1> at 2 inch with Art Philosophy.  Using different yellow ribbons cut rays for my sun and put on the beach paper adding stickers for the usual things found on the beach.  All ribbon, paper, stickers and card stock is from my stash.  Have some fun in the sun and come join us at  Just A Scrappin'!

The Twinery Challenge Banner Day

I used Cricut Art Philosophy to cut the banners.  The purple banner is <banner2> at 7 inches, yellow at 4 inches, blue at 6 inches and orange at 4 inches.  I put the banners together then punched holes to thread the Twinery twin thru each banner.  Last added letters to say "Hello" .  In my photos the finished banner is outside my front door.
Just A Scrappin'  Challenge for Mar.28, 2013 is Make an Easel Card using pastel colors on it.  I made a Twisted Easel Card 5 1/2 inch square.  Using Art Philosophy cartridge I cut <cupcake> shift at 1 1/2 " in brown and 1" in glitter.  next <cupcake> layer in sliver at 1 1/2 inches and two at 1 inch, then the tag <shape1> at 1 1/2 inch in thick white cardstock.
Take top of cover and fold in half point to point. When gluing down the front make sure it's the direction wanted for the easel part of the card.  Glue only the bottom 1/2 of card front and cover paper.  I use stuff from my stash of course.  I used pop-ups on the tag to get it a little high than the inside of the card to hold the easel part up when opened.

The finished card I mailed to my sister in Iowa for her birthday Thur. Mar.28th.  Hope she gets it before this post on-line.

Just A Scrappin'  Challenge for Mar.21, 2013 is Use felt - make a card, LO or project using felt some where and the color orange.

I got out my felt flowers from my stash and matched it with patterned paper cutting a 5 X 7 inch card front.  I sewed the buttons onto the flowers, placed the ribbon on the side of the  panel.  Cut one <banner1> Decorative Layer at 3 inches added it to the panel with 2 brads.  Using Stickles I colored each center of the flowers on the patterned paper and let dry. Using  different sizes of the dots I put the felt flowers on.  I think I'll use this card for my Mother, lots of room inside to write and she loves that. Come on and join us in this challenge at Just A Scrappin'

Just A Scrappin'  Challenge for Mar.7 2013 is Sew & stitch on a LO, Card, or project and add eyelets.  I made this card using stitching on the ribbon, heart shaped eyelets in the center of the flowers.  Using Art Philosophy I cut the <Circle5> at 2 inches for the journal. I had a time with the eyelets since it has been so long that I've used them.  Found I have hundreds of small and smaller eyelets and I not sure I'll be able to use them because they are hard for me to see.  Please join us at  Just A Scrappin'  !

Just A Scrappin'  Challenge Feb. 28, 2013 Teddy Bears with no brown and using quilling or rolled flowers on LO, Card or project.  I downloaded these cute Teddy Bears for tags.  The tags can be used on a gift or used on a LO.

                                                         1.  I used Art Philosophy to cut the <tag2> at 5 inches out of handmade paper from my stash.
2.  I hand cut the bears from very light weight cardstock from stash.
 3.  Inked the edges of bears with Palette hybrid inkpads blue and green.
4.  Glued the bears to each tag lining up the tag holes then punched.  From stash found ribbons to string up tags for a package or scrapbook.
 5.  I cut the flowers using font <banner6> key at 2 1/2 inches.  I used a Zot to hold center and curled the rest into the flower shape.  This is regular cardstock from stash.
6.  I used the wire words "happy" and "hugs" for my sentiment using  glue to hold it onto the card.  Usually I sew them down, but I want the other side of the tag plain to add a name to at the time I use it.
7.  I added the flowers centers one gem the other pearl.  Added to card using a Zot medium.
