Time to move on to other themes, and Sandy has specifically requested cards for our heroes to send to their children. Maybe this sketch would make a cute kids card, what do you think?

Let's get shapely.   Join us at Just A Scrappin' weekly Challenge to make a card that is not a square or a rectangle . You can use any  theme or colors.  I used Cricut Cartridge Art Philosophy Card <squar4> at 5 1/2" on pattern and <bttrfly2> layer on glitter cardstock. Using the cut made by Card I put in the blue ribbon.  By adding "Sweet" I can use this for Cards for Hospitalized Kids"

Out of our comfort zone.   Join us at  Justascrappin' weekly Challenge to make a Non traditional Christmas card, layout or 3D project (thanks to one of talented designers' for this idea).  You can use any colors but red or green.

I love purple so that's what I used.  Starting with a purple card base at 5 1/2" I then used the Cricut cartridge Art Philosophy to cut the <circle4> at 4 1/2" and <FlurDels> at 3".

Placed the circle onto the base, with a jumbo Zot in the Flur back I gathered the lace around it.  Using a sheer ribbon I hung the layer from the top of the circle like an ornament.  Last the "Let it Snow" sentiment and snow flasks to go with the pp in the circle. When I seen this color challenge Lawnscaping Challenge I just had to do it  for some reason the idea for the card popped into my head right then. Now here it is ...
The color is not as good in the photo as it really should be because for some reason the flash massed it up.  I used the kraft as the center with inking around the edges then stamped the sentiment, added red silk flowers and the gold with turquoise butterfly. Last added it all to the turquoise base.  I love it.

Today I was inspired by there two challenges  since I found the print out of an Iowa farm that fit the bill.   I used a A2 card base in white then a mat in black to place the drawing for the winter picture of a Iowa barn covered in snow.  I used markers to color the barn in maroon and black to do the shadows then Crystal Stickles for the white snow.

Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge Winter Fun 4 Kids that cards can be holiday or any winter teamed cards.
The Play Date Cafe 'Color Splash' Challenge  it's simply...Black & White with a 'Splash' and this time, it's a splash of MAROON.
