'Just A Scrappin' Challenge for April 25 is No neutral colors.  Make a card, LO, or project but NO white, black, brown or gray. This was not a hard as I first thought it would be.

I needed a masculine card for  a Farewell card for a staff member that's leaving the community so that's were I started.  I used a 4" X 5 1/2" card base, Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut 1 orange tag <flower6> at 1 1/2" and the orange star <Star5> Layer at 1 1/2".  I used sliver cord across the front for contrast.  The inside says "Wishing you a Lifetime of Happiness!".  Please join the fun at Just A Scrappin'

Just A Scrappin' Challenge for April 18, 2013 is NEW Arrival, make a card, LO, or project for a new baby or pet.  I made a project for a friend, I used the baby announcement to make a wall hanging for the baby's room.  I took a solid card stock that matched the color of the brushed pink  in the card and used a pre-made dark gray frame for the outside then used the light gray for the background.  I cut one < rctngle8> at 6 1/2 inches from Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, centered the announcement on to the pink card stock,  taped it to the light gray and added the frame.  Computer printed the congratulations, cut a flag to fit above the matted card.

Just A Scrappin' Challenge for Apr. 11,2013 is Anything Goes with spring colors.  I did a painters tray with photos form the past.  First  the pictures that was the hard part.  I found so old photos of my Mom's and used that to start with.  The 1946 photo had the writing on it so I just used it as is.  While looking for embellishments I found the LOL bubble and it fit so I added it to the top.  I cut from Art Philosophy 1 tag <rctngle4> at 1 1/2 inches, Butterflies <bttlfly1> glitter paper at 2 inches, <bttlfly2> at 1 1/2,  <bttlfly2> Layer at 1 1/2 inches, Heart: <Heart1> at 1 1/2 inches, <Arrow2> at 1 1/4 inches. I took each photo and selected the paper color and embellishment then placed them into the tray. I made the ribbon flower by using the wire on one side to gather the ribbon into a flower shape.  I cut the other end off then tied the wire ends together.  I used Jots Jumbo to hold it in place.  All supplies form my stash plus 3M ACT Tape.  Come join us in the fun of Anything Goes at Just A Scrappin'

April 4, 2013 Just A Scrappin' Challenge is Ready to feel the sun? Make a card, LO or project with the sun on it.  Sun on the beach card here.  I remembered lots of past vacations with the sun on the beach because of this challenge.

I cut 1 <circle1> at 2 inch with Art Philosophy.  Using different yellow ribbons cut rays for my sun and put on the beach paper adding stickers for the usual things found on the beach.  All ribbon, paper, stickers and card stock is from my stash.  Have some fun in the sun and come join us at  Just A Scrappin'!
