Just-A-Scrappin' Challenge for July 25 2013 is Celebrate your families: Create a LO including favorite color, bit of distress and favorite embellishment. Here are 3 of my grand daughters and my Mother-in-law on a plaid background to show I love using lots of color.  The Purple butterflies and flowers are my favorite color and embellishments, the stickers are a great way for me to add writing that everyone can read. My distress does not show in this photo, sorry.  Have a few pictures that can celebrate your family?  Join us at Just-A-Scrappin'!

Just-A-Scrappin' Challenge for July 18 2013 is Celebrate the great outdoors and Mother Nature using neutral colors and watercolor pencils or chalks.  I do chalks because I have no watercolor pencils. so here's my LO for this one.
Here I used pictures to go next to a LO of the backyard that does not have the close ups of the flowers.  I used My Studio Brass Stencil of the butterfly and Lady Bugs with The Stencil Collections pastel chalks.  It's easy to use but it does need to set and I have a problem getting may arm into the chalk.  I places the pictures trimmed and used the corner rounder then marked where they would go.  Having that I placed the butterfly and Lady Bug stencils and used painters tape to hold while applying the chalks.  This is easy, just pick the color, dip the brush (stiff) and apply to stencil being careful not to get it on the arm.  Remove the stencil and let sit overnight.  I like how the butterfly and Lady Bug came out.  It been years since I used the chalk, but I'll be using them more now.  How about You?  Join us for the challenge at Just-A-Scrappin'

Just-A-Scrappin' Challenge for July 11 2013 is Celebrate the American past-time BASEBALL must add an element using fabric ie ribbon or color swatch.  I really had a time with this because I found nothing about baseball in my stash.  I had to get a free clip art to use on my card.  I colored it with color pencils and added a tag that I cut a long time ago.  I used the rest of my card stock paper that I had cut  to make up tags to save room in my storage.  I added a red ribbon but here
It does not look red but it is, also from my stash. Join us in this challenge at Just-A-Scrappin'
