The sketch is from My Favorite Things #147. I like this one and will make a few more using that sketch.
Join in at My Favorite Things for a sketch challenge starts Sat. and is due Tues. by noon.
Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge Early Holiday Wishes 4 Kids Challenge start 10/19 and ends 11/1.
They start early because they would like all the kids in the eight children*s hospitals they serve to receive a holiday card and it would be even better if the kids could choose a few more for friends or family they are missing while they spend the holidays in the hospital. My supplies were from my stash so I do not have the company names of what I used. Please join with Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge and mail some cards in for kids. Thanks.
I hope to inspire and share with others scrapbooking, card making and altered arts.

Today at Just A Scrappin' our challenge is to Create a layout of something we did to celebrate this past summer. I could only think of all the cards I made for Operation Write Home and Cards for Hospitalized Kids. So I took pictures of the cards I have ready and then added the kind of embellishments I use on the many different kind of cards I make. Hope you can join us in this challenge at 'Just A Scrappin'.

Today at 'Just A Scrappin' our challenge is to Create something that expresses who we are ( as a crafter, parent etc). What a time I had with this one, after a week of thinking, going thru photos and thinking some more I did this...
once I got started it went well. I cut a sided circle from <cirle4> of Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from Close to my Heart and used it as a frame, placing many of the sunset pictures my husband and I took over the 20+ years of travels. Here are sunsets from Iowa to Australia, from New Zealand to China, from Russia to New Mexico and others I don't remember there names. Then added the K&Company chipboard sliver glitter letters. I like how it turned out. Hope you can join us in this great challenge at 'Just A Scrappin'. Thanks for visiting and come again! sherry

Hi! Today at 'Just A Scrappin' our challenge is to Create something vintage. I used cream and black background paper, it reminds me of old wallpaper, inked the sides, added sticker that have the 50's look. This can
be and everyday card. Just for fun.

here is my idea of a fall card with Sentiment.
I used the Xyron 510 to add adhesive to both the patterned ribbon and the plain paper for this card. I like how the colors match.
1. I ran both the ribbon and the paper thru the 510 Creative station at the same time to save adhesive .

2. applied them onto card stock. 3. added to the card stock the "goodluck" sentiment. 4. I'll summit it to both Craft it up & Operation Write Home Bread designs for free shipping.
Join both on either to day for fun and to help others.

Hope you can join us at 'Just A Scrappin' Challenge. This time it's a Pop Up card! Here is the front that says Happy Thanksgiving, this as usual is all from my stash. I added the gobble gobble and the pumpkin pie with small foam adhesive dots. Inside of the card I used white card stock at the 5.5 inch square card size and cut 2" from each side on the fold for the pop up. Then I folded the tab into the card. Glued the front (colored) side to the inside (white) making sure no glue was on the fold. I added the 3D sticker with my sister in mind for this Holiday card. Thanks for visiting and join us at 'Just A Scrappin'
