Just-A-Scrappin' May 22 2014 Challenge is using our scraps and adding some bling to a LO, card or of the page project. All paper, stickers and card stock is from my stash. I'm working on my dog's book so I used a photo of him and his good friend Suzie from down the street for the photo. One of the first dogs we meet after moving here 4 years ago.
1. Background glitter paper in blue and butterflies. I cut it to fit the top of the page. Ran it thru the Oxyron 510 to adhere.
2. On white card stock I add the stickers of paw prints and the title of Perfert Pair.
3. I ran a strip of patterned light weight card stock thru the Oxyron Sticker Maker then added to the bottom of page.
4. Last I add the die cut Puppy Love to the top right corner.
Have a scrap happin' day and join us at Just a Scrappin' Thanks sherryThursday, May 15, 2014
Hi, hope your having a great scrapping day! This week at Just a Scrappin' challenge is make a project using chalks and add some ribbon. I used a brass stencil and chalk from The Stencil Collection to do the dog and then chalked the white ribbon. This is my dog Blackie and I'm working on his 8X8 book. I used stickers to add foot paws to the ribbon and to do the edges of the paper and photos. I added stickers for the title and the rest. I like it and it's page 1 of his new book. Hope you can join use at Just a Scrappin' for this challenge. Thanks Sherry

Just-a-Scrappin' Challenge May 5, 2014. It's May already and life it moving fast forward for me. Create a sewing project. For this challenge I used the horse fabric to make a book/album cover.
1. Measure the book to cover, add 1/2 inch seams extra for pleat in spine and the amount for fold over. Cut your fabric to fit the way you want. Here I had to make adjustments so the horse would be on the front and back. If you use light weight fabric it should be lined.
2. I used the boarder for the inside fold of the cover.
3. On this I have a pleat inside the spine so I can adjust the size to fit as the book grows. I can take out the seam and sew it to fit as needed.
If you do not usually sew or make your project without a pattern you many want to buy a pattern and use it for getting the detail instructions. Thanks for stopping by and check out Just-a-Scrappin'!
Sherry
